Chalet Almleben Hochfügen sits at around 1,300 m above sea level – secluded yet directly accessible by road, nestled in the Tux Alps just before the mountain paradise of Hochfügen in the Zillertal. You can reach the chalet by car all year round. Once there, you’ll enjoy complete privacy, close proximity to the slopes, and stunning views of the surrounding alpine landscape.
Tip: In winter, winter tires are a must, and snow chains should definitely be in the car!

Anreise nach Hochfügen
Fügen is located at the entrance of the Zillertal and is easily accessible—just 8 minutes from the motorway exit. From there, a scenic mountain road takes you up to Chalet Almleben in Hochfügen in about 20 minutes. There are good train and bus connections to Fügen, and from there, buses run regularly to Hochfügen. Free parking is available right in front of the chalet.
Arriving by car
Take the A12 Inntal motorway to the Wiesing/Zillertal exit, then follow the Zillertal Road (B169) to Fügen. From there, a well-marked panoramic mountain road leads you 12 km up to Hochfügen. After approximately 7.7 km, you’ll see Chalet Almleben clearly on the right-hand side, directly on the roadside. The total distance from the motorway exit to the chalet is around 17 km and can be comfortably driven in about 25 minutes.
